Some random stuff, and more pictures!

Ok, so, random stuff out of the way first. If you haven't noticed on my sidebar, there's a new "person I know", Me. I now have a(n) LJ as well as this blog, so if you want quizzes, I'll be posting them over there.

I have recently purchased the Sims 2 for the PS2, if o
nly for the fact there's a 2 player mode.

For any and all of my friends that have worked retail (espe
cially the many of you who have worked at Michaels) I find this comic extremely true. If only we could hurt those kind of customers....

Ok, I think that's it for random right now,
so...on to PICTURES!! These are all from either Julie's bachelorette party (very few) or from Julie and Andy's wedding, so enjoy! (P.S. I had some witty stuff written to go along with these pictures, but the formatting messed it all up, so I decided not to fuck with it tonight. Any questions, just ask.)

that comic is good, but of all the things i wish we could kill customers for, that's pretty low on the list.

When I worked at Michaels, I most hated the customers who would buy 100 things of embroidery floss in all different colors, so you had to scan everything.

Great pictures especially of the car being fucked up...I hadn't seen any of that yet. Fortunately for me but not for him, that was my brother's car.

floral is hands down worse than floss. floss has no leaves to get in the way of the barcode, is never pointy, and doesn't make me itch or cough. scrapbooking paper sucks too, especially vellum.

Pictures! :) Yay!

I never did retail, but I did do food service--that's almost worse, because not only do the customers bitch about the restaurant being too cold, but the workers bitch (if you turn the air off) about the restaurant being too hot. It was a no-win situation for me, the lowly hostess. On the other hand, I do now have much more respect for servers and hostesses than I did before that. Anyone who thinks serving is a picnic has never served. Period.

Peace.
