So, yeah, I know, I've been slacking on this. Hey, the music widget site was down for a bit, and I was out of town, and I kinda forgot...I'm human! Forgive me?

Anyways, this song was "Haruka Kanata" by Asian Kung-Fu Generation. It's also one of the opening songs for Naruto, but I don't watch that show, I just like the band. It was chosen over the others for it's slightly peppy, but definitely invigorating sound.

Pi(e) Day

So, yesterday was Pi Day. And in honor of this most auspicious of days, I made a pie.


It was a chocolate chip and pecan affair...a bit like a really soft cookie in a pie crust.


Well, as I sat there, eating my pie, the bibliophile called to invite me out for more pie! Hey, it was Pi Day, what do you think I did?? That's right, out for more pie. The only problem was, afterward, I kept trying to swim up out of sugar-induced sleep...all while playing Soul Calibur 3 with rabidmonkey...but, hey, it was all good fun.

Making Up

The next installment in the soundtrack of my life is the "Making Up" segment. (And sorry, if this isn't as interesting as my last post, but it's been over a week for the soundtrack stuff, so I figured I needed to change it again...maybe I'll have an update, or something else will happen at work, though I doubt it...)

Anyways, this time I chose "Ai no Uta", one of the songs from the second InuYasha movie, since the other songs that came up were more fitting for a break-up song than a make-up song...go figure. But....unfortunately I could only find the Japanese for this one, too, so, sorry. You'll just have to deal with it being untranslated.
